    ZCPIT is the premier college dedicated to providing comprehensive professional education and vocational training in insurance, Pensions and other related Business studies.

    About ZCPIT

    ZCPIT is the premier college of insurance and pensions education and training in Zambia. It specializes in providing professional and vocational training leading to the award of certifications in insurance, pension administration and other related business studies. The ZCPIT trust was established on 14th December 2014 and is registered under the Land (Perpetual Succession) Act Cap 186 of the Laws of the Republic of Zambia, with Ministry of Lands registry. It commenced operations on 1st April 2015. Industry stakeholders saw the danger which the eventual closure of ZIBCT, the only Insurance College presented and the negative effects on lack of training and education to the whole Insurance and Pensions industry.

    A consortium of Insurance and Pensions bodies which form the Settlorship (Ownership) of the Trust consist of:

  • The Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA)
  • The Zambia Association of Pension Funds (ZAPF)
  • The Insurers Association of Zambia (IAZ)
  • The Insurance Brokers Association of Zambia (IBAZ)
  • The Insurance Institute of Zambia (IIZA)
